Saskia van Daalen is a photographer, stylist and a make-up artist.
Since 2005 she worked as a stylist in major film productions and nationwide televisionprograms.
Nowadays she is aiming mostly on staged photography.
By making her own photographs she is able to use her creativity and experience and shape her own world.
In the world of photography, she gradually let go fashion and became more and more attracted to images of (human)dis-engagement. Images that can be described as a peculiar mixture between the early works of Rineke Dijkstra and the movies of Alex van Warmerdam.
